In this semi-autobiographical novella set on Christmas Eve in Madison, Wisconsin during the height of the Iraq War, a blue-collar worker begins his employment delivering bread around his town. He is employed by a former Gunnery Marine Drill Sergeant/ Gulf War Veteran who reminds him of his father-a Vietnam Army Vet who then informs him that he has cancer due to having been exposed to Agent Orange all of those years ago during his tour of service. Depressed and suffering from insomnia, can the main character confront the demons of both his past and present circumstances that haunt him?
