This volume contains 16 autobiographies of men who fought in the Korean War. Their stories give listeners an understanding of what draftees, volunteers, and professional military men experienced in that war. They often tell information not available in US military reports and government-authorized histories and sometimes counter it. The second volume of Korean War combat veterans stories contains 15 autobiographies, and information about Chinese and North Korean war prisoners' conditions told by a US Army doctor who spent three years as a war prisoner.
