COME NOW let us reason together, says the Lord, what an invitation and a pleasure of heart to know that the creator of the universe delights in a conversation with you. Oh! how I hope all His people would hearken unto this. Who is wiser and more engaging in knowledge and counsel but the Lord Himself. The wisest of men and great minds in different generations sought counsel from all depths of life, but how pleasurable is it for those who receive instructions from the Spirit of God.
The Spirit that forms all things and created them for His own pleasure and yours too. I esteemed His words more than my necessary food said Job. The great King David said divine conversations have made him wiser than all his enemies. Divine conversations birth the greatest pleasure on earth, talking with the maker removes the fear of men. He who talks divine talk dominion and dominion is to him who responds to divine thoughts. Words are powerful and they establish one’s reign on earth.
