Nineteen-year-old amateur sleuth Kim is bogged down trying to resolve issues for other people while also trying to make a little money for herself. But she receives a strange, unexpected message that appears to be a plea for help, but from whom and from where is not at all clear. Nothing more than that is required to engage Kim’s dynamic determination to relentlessly investigate until she has got to the bottom of the matter, has helped whoever it was asked for help, and has brought to justice whoever instigated the need for help. There are moments of mirth along the way and some opportunities for the odd romantic interlude, too.
