Obsessed with revenge, Stede Bonnet sets sail for the mystical Barrier Island of Deep Magic, doggedly pursuing his nemesis, Blackbeard. Accompanying Bonnet aboard the ghost ship, Revenge, Squojo and his adventurin’ companions embark on a dangerous quest to rescue Mawdlong, a Gullah root doctor taken hostage by Blackbeard. Swept up in a tide of treachery, they will face paranormal forces manipulated by a formidable pirate wizard seeking to resurrect a powerful witch bound by an ancient curse. The only harrowing certainty is that pirates will be pirates.
