Michael Merlyn and Jacob Shepherd are both known as psychic mediums with the power to communicate with the dead. However, Merlyn is an experienced powerful psychic and exorcist, while Shepherd is a celebrity medium who puts on an act for the unsuspecting public.

But when a young actress is brutally murdered in a mysterious manner in his home, Shepherd enlists the aid of Merlyn and his paranormal detective partners Kate and Victoria to unravel a mystery that could spell the end of the world as we know it.
