A week ago, the nation crumbled under a mysterious cyber-attack that crippled the power grid, took out communications, killed thousands, and forced Alex Reid and his ex to flee across a lawless country in search of their daughter.

A second wave of attacks are unleashed.

After blowing a tire on the outskirts of Denver, Alex and the survivors find themselves trapped in a ruined city overrun with autonomous killer drones. But when a chance encounter with a feisty, 13-year-old promises safe passage out of the city, they soon find themselves in danger from a secretive group who know far more about the event than they’re letting on.
