In the town of North Ridge, NM, a West Virginia native believed to have been dead at the hands of the Cheyanne returns only to find that his ranch has been foreclosed due to an overdue mortgage. As he starts from the ground up and is determined to begin a new life, a series of stage holdups and a murder begin to circulate across town. Being recruited by the sheriff and with the intervention of the Army by order of the town mayor, Lynn Cooper may just have to settle for one more round with the life that he tried to leave behind.
