In 1973, Perry Ann lost her parents in a tragic accident.

Then in 1983, Perry Ann and her best friend MatiLou pursued answers as to what happened on that fateful day. A past love interest, Billy, who may have been involved, accosted Perry Ann, forcing her to make hard choices.

And in 1995, he continued to push Perry Ann to the brink of desperation.

Meanwhile, MatiLou grapples with her feelings for her husband Bobby and the price she pays to be with him, abandoning her true self and what she knows she was born to do. She struggles with wounds from bullying, injustice, and fear of losing those she loves.

Painted Moment, rich with gifts and lessons in the telling of the story, finally uncovers long awaited truths.

To listeners, thank you. I hope you enjoy this journey. As the author, I tried to record the girls’ hope, what they felt and learned, much of their dialogue, and what they gained and lost along the way. Although fiction, their journey resonates with current times.
